Molecular Hiving® has the features in both solid and solution phase synthesis. When you elongate the peptide with amino acid block you can choose completely homogeneous condition. Its feature enables us to easily synthesize a peptide in high concentration condition without racemization. In addition, you can separate the peptide easily by filtration or liquid extraction after elongation. These features are depended on the combination hydrophobic tag and appropriate solvents.
Molecular Hiving® is composed of two part technologies. One of them is thermomorphic system(JP 3538672). The other is hydrophobic tag. The tag enables us to synthesize peptide as solution phase in elongation, and separate the desired peptides from reaction mixture like solid phase synthesis. The chemical and physical property of peptides depend on amino acid composition and order. It means that you have to seek the best synthesis condition about every peptide.
